This installation instructions will show you how to install the 64 colors ambient light for Mercedes benz V Class W447, the lights including center console ambient light, middle door ambient light, storage box light and footwell lamp. It will create an excellent environment in your car.

Complete Wiring Schematic
Center console + storage box light installation
1. Center console ambient light and storage box light wiring schematic
2. Use plastic board to pry out the rubber cover behind the screen
3. Use T20 screwdriver to loose the 2 screws
4. Disconnect the cable, take out the screen
5. Need to remove the 3 air vent as the picture shows
6. Use special tool to pull out the air vent, use T20 screwdriver to loose the screws inside
7. Pull out the center console dashboard decoration panel
8. Remove the screws, take out the left decoration panel
9. Put the led strip inside the slot(as picture show), and connect the cable with LED on both side
10. Put the led strip inside the slot and connect cable
11. Use the plastic board to pry out this panel
12. Remove the lamp cover
13. Connect the light to the storage box
Middle Door Light Installation
1. Right door light wiring schematic
2. Use screwdrivers to open the rubber cover, remove the screws
3. Remove the upper cover first as the picture show, then remove the lower cover
4. Pull out the waterproof cotton carefully to put cable inside
5. Remove the front door threshold panel
6. Remove the 8pcs screws as the picture show
7. Middle door light cable go through here
8. Use pliers to cut the soldering point
9. Remove the silver decoration strip
10. Put the led strip inside the slot, put the fixing bracket at the position picture show to fix the led strip
11. Install back decoration strip, use the 8 screws come with the product to fix the strip
12. Use pliers to cut a U shape at the position as the picture shows to put the LED head
13. Push the LED head into the led strip, use tape to fix the head
14. Use #5 driller to make a hole in the position as the picture show, to install the cup holder light
15. Stick the led strip
16. Connect all the led light head, door ambient light installation are finished
Footwell Light Installation
1. Right side footwell light wiring schematic
2. Remove 2 screws as the picture show then take out the cover board
3. Use slotted screwdriver to remove original lamp, and install our multi-color lamp
4. Remove the cover under the B column, replace original lamp to our lamps
5. Remove original lamp with the plastic board
6. Install our multi-color lamp. Right side footwell lamp is finished. Left side same way.
Control box + Power Cable + CAN cable Connection
1. Remove the glove box
2. Cable connection position
3. Positive (12V+) position at fuse box
4. Negative GND position
5. CAN position is at the right side of the storage box
Coding
You can do the coding before installing the ambient light or after install the ambient light. We suggest you do the coding before installation.
You can do the coding via Mercedes computer or via our OBD.
Note: If the car already come with original 3 colors ambient light, no need to do the coding, if the car does not have original ambient light, need to do the coding.
Testing & Restore
1. Connect all the connector & power, check if all lights can work, if not work, please check the cable connection;
2. Go to Vehicle setting-lighting system to set the light color and brightness to set if the colors and brightness can be adjusted, if not, please check if the CAN cable is connected wrong
3. After check all the function works, restore the all things take out from car.
After install
Ambient Light Colors Setting Instruction
1. Enter Vehicle Setting menu
2. Choose Ambient Light System: Color
3. Fixing Color: Enter 3 colors menu and rotate the knob, when you rotate one time, the light color will change to next color. There are 64 colors for options. (The real color shows might not be same as in the menu as in the menu there’s only 3 colors)
4. Automatically Changing Color: Enter 3 colors menu, choose the most RED color, then rotate one more time to white color, then remain in white color, after 10 seconds, the light color will be change automatically(12 colors in circle)
